1 ) I SOMETIMES SEE THE IDENTICAL POST IN MAYBE 4 OR MORE NEWSGROUPS. THIS REALLY WASTES MY TIME. IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT ?
Yep. Enable crosspost management and you will only see one copy of each post. Irrespective of how many newsgroups the post has been posted to.
2 ) I THINK READING POSTS BY DOPY@XXXX IS A GREAT WASTE OF MY TIME. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN AVOID THIS ?
Yep. Killfile her by putting dopy@xxxx in your killfile list.
3 ) I THINK READING POSTS BY CLEVER@XXXX HELPS ME GREATLY. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN MORE EASILLY SEE HIS POSTS ?
Yep. Put clever@xxxx in your "watch" list. All posts by him will now have a "watch" symbol beside them.
4) I WANT TO SEND/RECEIVE EMAIL, AS WELL AS NEWSREADING, IN JUST ONE APPLICATION. CAN AGENT DO THIS ?
Yep.

Yes, as long as you are online at the time, you can automatically call up your browser and go straight to the site.

Yes, you can sort by thread, subject, author, date, or size.
8) IN MY (TRAINS) BINARY NEWSGROUP I ONLY WANT TO RECEIVE THE BINARY POSTS AND EXCLUDE THE TEXT POSTS. CAN I DO THIS ?
Yes, killfile by line count. Small posts are text, large are binary.
9) IN MY "TEXT" NEWSGROUPS I SOMETIMES SEE POSTS WITH FILES/BINARIES ATTACHED. THESE TAKE AGES TO DOWNLOAD. IS THERE ANY WAY TO AVOID GETTING THEM ?
Yes, killfile by line count eg. kill all posts longer than 600 lines.
10) I GET A NEWSGROUP THAT DISCUSSES WORDPERFECT 6.1 AND 7.0 I DON'T HAVE 7.0 CAN I AVOID THESE POSTS ?
Killfile posts with 7.0 in the header.
11 ) I OFTEN SEE MESSAGES LIKE "MAKE MONEY FAST" IN MULTIPLE NEWSGROUPS. CAN I STOP SEEING THESE MESSAGES ?
Yes. Killfile them.
12 ) I ONLY HAVE ONE PHONE. CAN I DOWNLOAD NEWSGROUP POSTS AND READ THEM WITHOUT HAVING TO BE "ONLINE" WHILE DOING SO ?
Yes. Agent is an offline AND online newsreader.
13 ) SOME "THREADS" ARE REALLY BORING. OTHER THAN KILLFILES IS THERE ANY WAY TO AVOID READING THEM ?
Yes. Press your " i " button. Then all posts in that thread will be ignored.
14) SOME POSTS ARE A GREAT HELP. IS THERE ANY WAY TO KEEP THEM SO THAT I CAN REFER TO THEM AGAIN AT A LATER DATE ?
Yes, press " k " this will keep the message and stop it from being deleted.
15) CAN AGENT DO AUTOMATIC SPELLCHECKING ?
Yes.
16) ARE THE TOOLBARS CONFIGURABLE IN AGENT ?
Yes.
17) CAN I SELECT WHICH POSTS I WANT TO "VIEW" ?
Yes, one can "view" using any of the following combinations :
Read / unread
With / without bodies
Watched / Not Watched
Ignored / Not Ignored
Kept / Not Kept
Marked for Retrieval / Not marked for Retrieval
Incomplete Multiparts / Not Incomplete Multiparts

Usually very quickly. Often within 24 hours.
